our story

Growing up as a first-gen Pakistani American, my deepest connection to my roots was at the dinner table. My mom’s cooking was the aromatic backdrop of my childhood. I would sift through her creamy desserts and pick out all the ‘elaichi’ (green cardamom seeds) I could find.

Years later, I was carrying around little vials of these magical seeds, popping them into my mouth after meals, in between meetings, on the dance floor - anytime I’d find myself needing a mental and oral reset. They transport me, they give me a sense of comfort and nostalgia, and damn do they linger.

I’m on a mission to bring this queen of spices to the world with moon seeds. moon seeds are of the cosmos and of the earth, they are something new and something ancient, something seemingly illicit but entirely natural. I call them an edible perfume because they will envelop you in a layered, multi-sensory experience that elevates your aura and makes you smell f*cking amazing.
